Just wanted to drop you a line on two points, one was to wish you a Happy New Year, the other is say how impressed I am with your building and the installation at New Forest Cider, and how well it has worked with our Ecodan heat pump.

The heating was commissioned before Christmas during a very cold spell, the temperature being around '0'. Although the building was cold to the core it only took a few hours to achieve a stable 18 degrees and according to John Topp the zoned thermostats turned off the system at 10am the following morning, it wasn't until 5pm that heat was called for a again by the system controls, a credit to the insulation properties of your cabin. Ranelagh Primary School was looking to build a unit that would house our extended school. We found the New Forest Log Cabin Company on the web search engine and it worked out cheaper and more eco friendly than a porta cabin. Initially, I looked at plans posted on their website and it was easy to adjust these plans to what we wanted. John Rudd was very accommodating and helpful. Within a very short time, the plans for our building were ready including very helpful eco information that I submitted to the planning office.

During construction the officer from building control visited often as he was not sure that a log cabin was suitable. However, by the time the building was finished he said "I had visions of an oversized shed, but I have changed my opinion. This is a very nice building and I can see more of them being put up in Newham".

Since the completion we have used the Lodge for conferences, a wellbeing project and local residents meetings. We will be expanding our extended school to cover senior citizens afternoons, mother and toddler groups, pre natal yoga classes and parenting classes. Click Here so see what we built

I have to say the cabin is so well insulated that even on the hottest day we had, the temperature inside was 4/5C lower that the outside our gym sessions are very pleasant too. What we have said to Customers

Hi John,

Spoke to my builder and got a quote for erecting the model. However, he also supplied me with a price for supplying and erecting a similar design. This has come in consederabley cheaper. Is the price you quoted me fixed, or is the price negotiable?

Hi Patricia,
I am sure we can trim some off the cost, but what we can't do is compromise on the quality of our product, which compared to others who offer a lower standard it is easy to supply a cheaper solution.
If you are absolutely sure that what your builder is offering you meets all your requirements and you want to buy on price, then you probably need to give them the business, but I encourage you to talk to 2 or 3 of their existing customers to see what they think of the mobile homes your builder supplies and ensure they meet the Caravan Act and then if you think it's worth paying a little more, then please let me know what figure we have to come in at to secure your business and we will give it our best shot..?
